Police nab 3 drug peddlers seize ganja worth 2.50 lakh in Mancherial

Three inter-State ganja peddlers arrested by Peddapalli police and the seized ganja in Mancherial on Wednesday

Mancherial: Ramagundam Commissionerate police on Wednesday nabbed three members of inter-State ganja peddlers and seized 20 kg ganja worth Rs 2.50 lakhs.

Following the orders of Ramagundam Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana, personnel from Special Branch and Task Force, acting on a tip-off, have arrested ganja peddlers under NTPC police station limits. They also seized ganja and a car (TS 10 EF 3422) while the accused were transporting ganja from Kagaznagar to Peddapalli district.

the arrested were identified as Md Ahamed Pasha, resident of railway gate Kagaznagar, Sanjeet Mondal of Kunta Odessa and Ramesh Roy of Kagaznagar.

Additional DCP (Administration) Ashok Kumar appreciated Special Branch Inspector Satish, Sub-Inspector Shankaraiah, NTPC SI Sammaiah and others who participated in the

operation.
