Police get training to adopt Vertical 5S system for better service to public
Wanaparthy: With an aim to adopt the Vertical 5S policing system, the police officials in Wanaparthy district had underwent a training programme on Friday. The training programme was conducted under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Apoorva Rao.
Speaking on the occasion, the SP said, "As part of the state government's initiative to bring in a more robust, transparent and accountable police system, we are providing training to the probationary Sub Inspectors and other trainee police officials about the vertical and 5S policing system. In the coming few days, we are planning to adopt the vertical and 5s policing system in Wanaparthy." Almost all the Sub Inspectors, trainee police officials and other staff from all the police stations under Wanaparthy district took part in the training programme.
Under the Vertical system of administration, the entire police department is divided into 12 parts which include Reception staff, Station writers, Crime Writers, Blue Colts, Patrolling staff, Court Duty Officers, Technical team, Crime staff, Medical staff, Section In-charge, General Duty staff and Station House Officer. As part of the training programme, all the station writers were provided training by power point presentations from expert IT teams. "The vertical and 5S system has given quite a good result in Japan and we are also planning to adopt the same system to get maximum results in Wanaparthy," said SP Apoorva Rao.
