Peddapalli: New Collector urges officials to work in coordination

Peddapalli: All the officials must work in coordination with each other for fulfilling the aspirations of the State government, stated new collector Sikta Patnaik.

As part of the transfers made by the State government, the Additional Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Sikta Patnaik was appointed as Peddapalli District Collector.

She took charge as the Collector at the Collectorate in Peddapalli on Monday.

Joint Collector Vanaja Devi, in-charge DRO K Narasimha Murthy and Field Publicity officer Srinivas Patel along with the Collectorate staff met the new Collector and greeted her and conveyed best wishes.

Speaking on the occasion, Collector Sikta Patnaik said that Peddapalli district got good name across the State. Taking the administration further closer to the people, the officials must strive hard to keep up the good name of the district.

The government has introduced new village panchayat act and municipal act for increasing the green cover along with keeping the villages, towns and cities neat and clean. The officials must play a key role in taking the welfare schemes to all sections of the people along with utilising all the funds that are available, she ordered.

She directed the officials to

complete the pending works in

villages and towns quickly in the order of preference and also strive hard for increasing the literacy percentage in the district.
