Warangal: TRS has no regard for social justice, Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) founder-president Manda Krishna Madiga said. Speaking at a meeting here on Friday, he said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao failed to ensure social justice while inducting his Cabinet. "Barring the two dominant castes – Reddy (six) and Velama (four), which accounted more than a half of the Cabinet, all other castes were ignored," Manda Krishna said.

Even though KCR has an opportunity to accommodate MLAs of several prominent castes in his Cabinet, he opted to give preference to Reddys and Velamas, he said. Had KCR treated all castes equally, the legislators of other communities would have also got an opportunity in the Cabinet, Manda Krishna said. He said that even in upper castes such as Brahmin and Vysya didn't have their representation in the cabinet. It shows KCR's ignorance, he added.

It seems that KCR was wooing some MLAs, who didn't get minister posts, but the MRPS warns the government not to reduce the representation of backward classes, Manda Krishna said.

He demanded the TRS leadership to induct Madigas and other backward classes into his Cabinet. In this regard, the MRPS has decided to organise a dharna at KDC grounds in Hanamkonda on September 22, he said, appealing to all Opposition parties to extend their support.

The poster of September 22 dharna was released on the occasion in which MRPS national president Ragati Satyam, Mahajana Socialist Party national spokesperson T Pradeep Goud, MRPS State president B N ramesh, T Laxman, Vlpula Suranna, B Dayakar, Manda Raju and E Kumar were present.
