Nizamabad: Don't keep public complaints pending, Collector to officials
Nizamabad: District Collector M Rammohan Rao has directed the officials concerned to look into the complaints received from the public during Prajavani in a timely manner and without keeping them pending.
During the Prajavani program at Pragati Bhavan meeting hall at Nizamabad Collectorate on Monday, he received complaints from the public. Later addressing the district officials, Rammohan Rao told them to respond to various matters and take necessary action. Stating that he already asked to submit the details of assets relating to government departments, he
told them to submit the reports immediately. He also asked them to provide details of bank accounts maintained by the departments and joint account bank accounts with the Collector's signature.
The Collector said that details of the funds that were credited in the respective accounts till date should be given as to why the account was opened. The details of the present position should be submitted immediately in the form of Proforma prepared by the Collectorate. In particular, the officials of medical and health departments, engineering, agriculture and education departments, DRDO, etc., and all other branches of the bank have provided details of the deposits. The details of SC, ST, BC, minority, educational institutions, hostels and other facilities provided to students in educational institutions should be submitted.
Stating that he had already asked the officials concerned to submit the details of court cases, but district officials hadn't provided till date, the Collector asked the district officials to provide full details of cases at the time of filing of the case.
The officials were also instructed to provide full details of the note files before submitting the terms and conditions of a case before sending them to the Collector. Similarly, the engineering department was instructed to keep the files, especially after the technical sanction has been issued with regard to the work forecasts.
Joint Collector Venkateshwar, DRO Ramesh, Zilla Parishad CEO Govindu, Revenue Divisional Officer Venkateshwar, district officials and others had attended the meeting.
