Nigerian woman arrested from Delhi by Cyberabad police
Hyderabad: The Cybercrime police of Cyberabad arrested one Nigerian woman identified as Roseline Anna Ekure from New Delhi and brought her to the city on prisoner transit warrant on Tuesday.
According to police, the accused woman submitted a forged visa to help her boyfriend Giddy Issac released on bail who was arrested by the Cybercrime police for cheating a lady doctor. Issac was arrested in the month of March and was sent to prison, however the court ordered for his release but demanded for two sureties. The sureties were arranged by Roseline and Obina Batholomew Godwin.
When the Cyberabad cops scrutinized the sureties submitted by the two, they realised that the Visa copy submitted by Roseline is a forged one and upon further enquiries it was revealed that her student visa was expired on April 18th 2016 and she was staying in India illegally.
The accused woman prepared and submitted the forged documents to the police as a surety to get released the main accused Giddy Issac. Hence, she was also arrested by the Cybercrime cops for cheating the government of India and courts and also for staying illegally in India. She was arrested under section 468, 471, 420, 193 of IPC and Section 14 of Foreigners Act 1946.
