Nalgonda: Villages had a makeover with a 30-day action plan

Halia (Nalgonda): District In-charge Collector V Chandra Shekar directed the officials to strive for the development of villages. On Friday, as part of Grama Darshini programme, he visited the Mandal Parishad Development Office of Anumula mandal in Nagarjunasagar constituency.

After examining the functioning of MPDO office, he conducted a review meeting with all the officials of the Anumula mandal. Speaking on the occasion, he said villages saw a complete makeover with the State government's 30-day action plan programme, and advised the officials to address the issues pertaining to dumping yards and burial grounds in villages that are facing problems.

He said the Grama Darshini was designed to address the problems of the villages in the district. The In-charge Collector stressed that it was the duty of revenue officials to solve the land issues of farmers.

Stating that 95 per cent of land issues of farmers in the district were solved so far, he informed that rest of the issues would be addressed very soon.

He emphasised that it was duty of Revenue officials to update the land records through Old Pahani records. Later, the In-charge Collector examined the land allocated for the construction of a mini stadium, market and Perur minor canal.

Halia Municipal Commissioner Goshika Balakrishna, Tahsildar Manga, Mandal Special Officer Venkateshwarlu, SI Veera Ragahvulu, Nodal Officer Janaiah, Revenue inspectors Sushmitha and Shankar and others accompanied the In-charge Collector.
