Nalgonda: Three Nakrekal manuals set to get Godavari waters through Kaleshwaram
Kattangur (Nalgonda): Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah stated that providing infrastructure in villages on par with towns was the State government's top priority. On Monday, he laid the foundation stone for a burial ground at Kalimera village and drainage works at Kurumarthi village in Kattangur Mandal in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Lingaiah said the State government has been implementing several welfare schemes for the welfare of all sections of the society. Three manuals of Nakrekal constituency are going to get Godavari waters under the Kaleshwaram project, he asserted. With the cooperation of Minister Jagadish Reddy, the irrigation facility would be provided in Kattangur, Nakrekal and Ketepally manuals of Nakrekal constituency by filling village ponds through Alimineti Madhava Reddy Project. He listed out the State government schemes and achievements in the last six years.
Stating that the government was committed to providing both drinking and irrigation facilities across the State, Lingaiah informed that the leaders of other parties and workers have been joining TRS stumped by the K Chandrashekar Rao's ruling. Local people's representatives, party leaders, supporters, and villagers participated in the program.
