Nalgonda: Mortal remains of martyred colonel Santosh immersed in river

Vadapally ( Nalgonda): The family members of Colonel Santhosh Kumar immersed the mortal remains of deceased Colonel at confluence of Musi and Krishna rivers at Vadapally in the district on Saturday .

Miryalguda MLA Nallamothu Bhaskar Rao met the deceased Colonel's family at Eddulagudem of Miryalguda and accompanied them during their visit to Vadapally .

Local priests completed all rituals with family members as per Hindu traditions and mortal remains were immersed at the rivers confluence in a special boat arranged for them.

large number of people reached Vadapally and raised patriotic slogans during the immersion of Urn. Colonel's father Upender, wife Santhoshini, son Anirudh and kin of colonel were present on the occasion.
