Nalgonda: Aid extended to beneficiaries of welfare schemes

Narketpally (Nalgonda): Zilla Parishad Chairman Banda Narender Reddy stated that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been providing aid to poor families under Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes.

Along with district In-charge Collector V Chandra Shekar and Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah on Friday, the ZP chief distributed Kalyana Lakshmi cheques to the beneficiaries at a programme held at local Tahsildar's office in Narketpally.

In-charge District Collector V Chandra Shekar, in his address, noted that the government, to see happiness on the faces of poor while performing the marriage of their daughters, has designed the Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes and has been implementing them successfully.

Chirumarthi Lingaiah, in his speech, stated that playing the role of an elder brother, the Chief Minister was extending financial aid to the poor to perform the marriage of their daughters.

Even though it is a burden on the State treasury, the Chief Minister keeping all his promises was extending several benefits to poor through various welfare schemes. Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Veera Brahma Chary, local officials, public representatives, TRS leaders and beneficiaries participated in the programme.
