Nagarkurnool: 15 Gurukul school students taken ill after drinking 'contaminated' water
Nagarkurnool: As many as 15 students studying in Jyotirao Phule BC Gurukul School had fallen sick on Tuesday after drinking contaminated water. The students who drank the water provided by the school authorities complained of vomiting sensation and later developed rashes.
After noticing the plight of the students, the school staff immediately shifted them to the Achampet government hospital for treatment. The doctors said that itching sensation and rashes were symptoms of allergy and could have been caused due to consumption of contaminated food or water.
The parents, who were informed about the illness of their wards, immediately rushed to the hospital. However, the doctors have asked the parents to not to worry as allergy caused due to consumption of contaminated food or water was very common.
