Mounds of rubbish cause concern in Gudimalkapur

Gudimalkapur: The dumping site next to houses beside Kings Palace function hall Gudimalkapur is posing a severe health risk to the residents who are living nearby.

Mounds of rubbish can be found at an open space next to the hall and surrounding homes.

A local resident shared, "Every day we see people come with loads of trash and dump it out here.

This open space has become a garbage dump. There are old mattresses, broken glass and sometimes dead animals.

I don't think the people doing this understand the implications behind it and the dump is becoming a boon for diseases spreading rodents which are risking lives of the locals living there."
