Mission Bhagiratha scheme inaugurated in Kodad

Kodad ( Suryapet): Minister for Education G Jagadish Reddy on Friday said the Godavari waters would be supplied to Kodad constituency in a month through Kaleshwaram.

The Minister along with Kodad MLA Bollam Mallaiah Yadav inaugurated Mission Bhagiratha scheme built at an estimated cost of Rs 80 crores.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the scheme had solved the decade-old drinking water problem in the constituency. The Mission Bhagiratha had reflects the vision of vision of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

The Mission Bhagiratha was aimed at providing drinking water to every household, he said. TRS local leaders and workers took party in the programme.
