Minister vows to develop Bhadrakali shrine in Warangal
Warangal: Goddess Shakambari, who appeared in the form of Neela at the Bhadrakali temple on Thursday morning and Nitya in the evening, enthralled the devotees. On the 10th day of the Shakambari fete, Minister for Endowments A Indrakaran Reddy along with his wife offered special prayers at the temple. He was accompanied by Warangal West MLA D Vinay Bhaskar.
Chief priest Bhadrakali Seshu urged the Minister to develop the temple by constructing four Raja Gopurams on the lines of Madhura Meenakshi temple. In response, Minister Reddy said that he would take the issue to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
He expressed confidence that the CM, who is keen on protecting historical temples, would respond positively and Bhadrakali shrine would be developed on par with Madhura Meenakshi and Kanchi Kamakshi.
Earlier, the Minister was accorded welcome with full temple honours.
