Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy swings into action on complaint

Hyderabad: Responding to a complaint received through SMS, Transport Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy ordered inquiry against the officials for not being on duty at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport RTC kiosk.

The Transport Minister received a complaint from one passenger, a resident of Karimnagar,Shankaraiah in the form of an SMS that there were no personnel at the TSRTC booth at the RGIA airport.

Shankaraiah along with his son Arvind came to Hyderabad from Ahmedabad. He had booked online ticket for Hyderabad-Karimnagar and the bus was at 10.30 am. The bus did not arrive even though it was 10.30 am. He rushed to the TSRTC kiosk at the airport but there was no one present.

He sent an SMS to the minister and upon the directions of the minister, the RTC officials made sure the bus come at the airport. The minister ordered inquiry into the absence of staff from the kiosk at the airport and also directed the officials to suspend the staff responsible.
