Mancherial: Subsidized tractors distributed to Government Whips
Mancherial: Government Whip and Chennur MLA Balka Suman, MP Venkatesh Netha and District Collector Bharathi Hollikeri distributed subsidy tractors to gram panchayats under 30-day actions plan at Government Degree College in Mancherial on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Suman said the tractors have been distributed to the respective gram panchayats to maintain cleanliness and develop greenery. He called upon the people, public representatives and the district officials to strive hard to develop the village and to make the district as a role model in the State.
The Whip also appreciated people, public representatives and government officials for playing a crucial role in developing the villages under 30-day action plan. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is planning to bring some changes in Panchayat Raj law after observing the difficulties faced by the people through the panchayat laws.
30-dau action plan could not be taken up continuously and every one should take the responsibility to maintain cleanliness in their respective villages. If garbage clearance can be done in a scientific manner, no one can stop Telangana State from becoming Bangaru Telangana, he said.
MLA Suman said that planning has been completed for the purchase of water tankers to gram panchayats and so far 45 tractors have been distributed to the gram panchayats and the remaining will be distributed soon.
ZP chairperson Nalla Bhagya Lakshmi, Mancherial MLA N Diwakar Rao, gram panchayat officer and others were present.
