Mancherial: Kotapalli police station building inaugurated
Mancherial: Peddapalli MP Dr. B Venkatesh Netha, Chennur MLA Balka Suman and Telangana State Police Housing Board (TSPHB) Chairman Koleti Damodar had inaugurated Kotapalli police station building under Chennur mandal in Mancherial district on Thursday. Ramagundam Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana, MLC Puranam Satish, ZP Chairperson Nallala Bhagya Lakshmi and DCP Uday Kumar Reddy were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, TSPHB Chairman Koleti Damodar said that it's pleasure to inaugurate the new police station building, which has been in dilapidated condition for the past few years. The TRS government after coming to power has been giving sophisticated vehicles to the police department and State police department has introduced friendly police system to develop good relations with the public, he said and pointed out that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and police higher authorities like DGPs had appreciated the State police for their services.
The Chairman said that the police are solving several critical cases with the help of latest technology as per the changing times. Police system has changed a lot than in the past. The State government has constructed a spacious building for Telangana State Police Housing Corporation Limited with crores of rupees.
Kannepalli, Bhemaram, Kotapalli and Antargam police stations will be modified as model police stations under Ramagundam Police Commissionerate, he said.
Ramagundam Commissioner V Satyanarayana said that public co-operation and their participation is very important to maintain law and order. The staff can provide better services if the police station premises have a healthy atmosphere and can provide a peaceful atmosphere to the petitioners also, who come to the police station for help. He urged the people and public representatives to cooperate with the police by installing CCTV surveillance cameras in their respective villages and to integrate the CCTV cameras with police control rooms for their safety and security.
Additional DCP Commandant Sanjeev, Jaipur ACP Gopati Narendar, AR ACP Bellampalli Nagaiah, Inspectors Nagaraju, Pramod, Koteshwar and Satish and Sis and others were present.
