Mahbubnagar: Two youth drown in lake

Mahbubnagar: Two youth were drowned in a lake which is part of the backwater of Koilsagar in Koilkonda mandal of Mahbubnagar district on Wednesday.

Going into the details, Sanjay (30) and Praveen (27), both brothers and resident of Kalyan Nagar Tanda in Koilkonda mandal, were travelling on a bike from their village to Koilkonda for a work.

However, as both of them reached the Vinjamur Bridge, they lost the control of their bike and dived into the Koilsagar backwater lake and both of them drowned.

The onlookers who saw the accident informed the locals and the police, however, by the time they reached it was too late and both had drowned in the lake. Later after one hour, heavy swimmers came and fished out the dead bodies.

The police said over speeding of the bike might have been the reason for the accident. Unfortunately both of them could not save themselves as they did not know swimming.

The family members and relatives of the deceased youth were weeping inconsolably as they have lost both of their sons in the accident.
