Kishan Reddy inspects Secunderabad Railway station development works

Union Minister Kishan Reddy visited Secunderabad Railway Station to inspect the ongoing development works. The station is being developed at a cost of Rs 750 crore and is aimed to be transformed into a modern facility resembling an international airport.

The progress of various projects such as multi-level parking, restrooms, and rooftop railway trap platforms was observed during the inspection.

Addressing the media, Union Minister Kishan Reddy expressed satisfaction with the rapid progress of the development works at Secunderabad Railway Station. He emphasized that the objective is to ensure that passengers do not face any inconveniences and that the station will be completed by November 2025. He also mentioned the progress of the Charlapalli terminal and stated that Prime Minister Modi will be invited to inaugurate it.

Additionally, he highlighted plans to establish new railway stations near areas connected by the regional ring road. The station will feature 22 lifts, over 30 escalators, and foot over bridges constructed from the airspace to allow passengers to enter and exit directly.
