The TRS government under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had introduced several welfare schemes to the farming sector to make farmer a king in the State.

The government is supplying free current, introduced Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima schemes, supplying water for irrigation, providing fertilisers and seeds on subsidy and purchasing every grain produced by farmers, he pointed out.

Satish Kumar also said with Kaleshwaram project and through Mid Manair Dam, water is available to even dry land areas present across north Telangana region. The government is heading towards development with perfect planning from the time of buying of seeds to purchasing of food grains, the government is supporting them by all means.

Collector K Shashanka said that the government has introduced new methods and reforms in agricultural field. The officials will decide which crops will suit better depending on the soil of a particular locality. If the farmers cultivate such kinds of crops then they will get maximum yields with profits, he stated. If the farmers cultivate same kind of crops, then the demand will decrease and there will be no benefits.

The farmers must cultivate such crops, which has demand in the market, he explained. Shashanka also urged them to adopt new and advanced technology in agriculture. With an intention to do justice to the farmers, the government has brought such reforms, he added.
