Karimnagar: Allot housing plots to tourism employees

Karimnagar: The representatives of Contract and Outsourcing Employees Union of Telangana Tourism Development Corporation on Monday demanded the government allotment of housing plots to the employees of Karimnagar district tourism department.

They gave a representation to Karimnagar Zilla Parisahd Chairperson Kanumalla Vijaya at ZP office here.

Speaking on the occasion, the union State general secretary Subbu Rajamouli said that the employees of tourism department, who are working on contract and outsourcing basis, are facing lot of hardships with minimum salaries.

They are unable to pay high rents and nourish their children with meagre amount of money they are getting. Moreover, many of them are working either as contract workers or on outsourcing basis, he pointed out. 

Subbu Rajamouli said if the government kindly allots housing plots to them, then these workers will construct houses. He urged the ZP chairperson to take initiation and to take the issue to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

The representatives of Contract and Outsourcing Employees Union of Telangana Tourism Development Corporation Thirumalesh, L Raji Reddy and Ch Anand were present along with others.
