Kamareddy: Villages should be turned into park

Kamareddy: District Collector Satyanarayana said saplings should be planted in front of each house in villages and develop them as gardens. As part of fifth phase of Haritha Haram programme in Kalwaral village, Sadasivanagar mandal on Wednesday.

The Collector told the villagers that each one should rear at least six plants in their houses. They were also told to protect and maintain these saplings until they grow into large trees.

Satyanarayana directed the public representatives and officials to take action to ensure that 85 per cent of the saplings planted in each village will live.

DRDO Chandramohan Reddy, MPP Anasuya, Deputy Sarpanch Sivaram, Market Committee Directors Shobha and Harinarayana and others participated in the programme.
