Journalists protest at DPRO office in Medak

Medak: Journalists Associations staged protest in front of DPRO office here on Tuesday, demanding dismissal of an outsourcing employee working in the office. They said the employee was indulging in works related to other departments.

They criticised him for his role in aspects including journalists' accreditation cards and passes. He issued passes only to a few during municipal elections, counting of votes and new council oath ceremony. "The issue has been taken to the notice of in-charge DPRO who paid a deaf ear to our problem in spite of us explaining the severity of the issue," they added.
