JC calls on journalists to enhance skills
Suryapet: District Joint Collector Sanjeeva Reddy here on Tuesday said Journalists must enhance their professional skills with changing times. He was inaugurating a one-day media workshop held in a private hotel here. Speaking on the occasion, he said the scribes are playing a key role in the society and they are a bridge between people and the government.
The workshops will help the scribes to update themselves to improve professionalism with available new technologies, he added. Chief guest professor Nageshwar opined that credibility of media will increases if journalists prefer to expose public issues rather than covering the leaders' programmes.
He expressed concern over the media favoring political leaders rather than reporting public issues/ In this programme, PIB Additional Deputy Director Mariyappan, Deputy Director Ratnakar, Rachana Journalism principal Umamaheshwar Rao and journalists across the district participated.
