Jagtial: 7-year-old boy recovers from liver disease, parents thanks MLC Kavitha
Parents of a seven-year-old boy who was suffering from a liver disease thanked Kavitha for providing timely help by sanctioning Rs 26 lakh which helped in the recovery of the boy named, Teku Sagar, a resident of Maitapur of Jagtial district. Kavitha addressed the issue in 2017 when the matter was brought to the notice of her by the villagers.
Three years later, Sagar has recovered from the illness and Jagtial MLA Sanjay Kumar took to Twitter to thank Kavitha for her initiative that saved a life. The MLC, who was in Jagtial on a visit, met Sagar Babu and his family.
Villagers accompanied her to Sagar's family and also thanked for her kind gesture which saved the boy's life. It is learned that Kavitha continuously looked after the boy and inquired about his progress. Also, she assured all help to the family when she visited him.
Earlier, Kavitha inspected the two-lane Bornapalli bridge. Kavitha had promised to complete the bridge since it would help interior villages when she was elected as MP in 2014. A total of Rs 70 crore was sanctioned to develop the bridge and improve road connectivity from Bornapalli to Raikal mandal.
