Hyderabad: Two children including 2-month-old baby test positive for coronavirus
Hyderabad: A two-month-old infant and a four-year-old baby tested positive for coronavirus here at Ramanthapur in the city on Monday. The children are learned to have contracted the virus from a coronavirus infected woman in Navrangguda.
After the woman tested positive for the virus, the health officials conducted the tests on her family members and two of them tested positive for the virus. The children who were in the isolation centre at Prakriti hospital in Begumpet were shifted to Gandhi Hospital.
On Sunday, the state reported 33 coronavirus positive cases including seven migrants taking the total number of cases in Telangana to 1196. As of Sunday, there are 415 active cases and the number of patients recovered so far is 751. Hyderabad still continues to remain in the red zone with a huge number of coronavirus cases.
