NIT-W students excel in CAT-2020 

Hyderabad: Sagar Kundani, with a score of 99.95 in the results declared for CAT-2020 aims to become an entrepreneur and has been hoping to take admission into the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. Sagar is one among the several students from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal who have come out with flying colors in the current year's CAT results.

He said he had gained good exposure while undergoing an internship in the construction of the project of Naya Raipur. Stating that he also wanted to help his father in the business he said, "I am also interested in become an entrepreneur."

He said that his civil engineering and management studies also comes handy in pursuing project management practice.

However, VKR Sai Prasanth Nikhil who is also from NIT, Warangal and scored 98.7 per cent says he is not in a hurry to immediately take admission in the management courses as he has already been placed in a software company. He said, "I want to gain experience, which counts the most."

Besides, he had given the CAT examination only to get acquainted with how it feels. Also, his work experience with a good score would help him in getting a call from the top IIM institutes like Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bengaluru and others, he said. Priyadarshini Biswal, student of chemical engineering in NIT-W, scored 98.6 per cent. She said that her interest in the management studies developed while she was the vice-president of the Management Club at the NIT.

"I am expecting to get a seat in IIM, Kozikode or Lucknow. I am planning to become an independent consultant and entrepreneur by pursuing my management course," she asserted. The other students from NIT-W, who scored high in the CAT-2020 include Sakhil Reddy Bhimavarapu (99.55), Kaligotla Sai Sri Vithal (99.57), Naman Sharma (99.12), Pranav Agarwal (99.79), Nikhil Birajdar (99.48), and Sujith Kumar (98.96).
