Hyderabad: More students join stir for job notifications
Chikkadpally: Students demanding immediate release of TSPSC (Telangana State Public Service Commission) jobs calendar have been holding protest for three days at the City Central Library here. Situation might get worse if there is no response from the government before end of the assembly sessions, warn their leaders.
"We demand immediate release of Group-1 and Group 2 notifications. Junior lecturer, degree college lecturer posts notifications are also not notified till date and we demand the dates of notifications as soon as possible. We are not against anyone. We only demand for employment opportunities, which the Telangana government is not providing," said Tirupathi, a student union leader.
"Telangana government unemployment benefit is also yet to be paid to unemployed students. At the rate of Rs 3,116 per month, around Rs 1,810 crore have been pending under loss of unemployment category, but nothing is happening," said Lakshman, an aspirant.
There were joined by other students such as K Sai preparing for Group-2, G Mamatha preparing for Group-3, S Sridhar preparing for Group-2 who are vociferous in their demand for notifications calendar for government posts recruitment.
