Hyderabad: Malkajgiri BJP leaders condemned the Telangana assembly resolution opposing CAA, NPR anti-democratic

Malkajgiri: Malkajgiri BJP leaders condemned the Telangana assembly resolution opposing Citizen (Amendment) Act (CAA) which was recently passed in the Parliament. On Friday, Malkajgiri BJP leaders met GHMC Deputy Commissioner (Malkajgiri circle) at this office and submitted a memorandum opposing the assembly resolution.

BJP leaders said that a State government passing a resolution against an Act, which was passed by the Parliament for national security, was against the spirit of federalism and termed it as anti-democratic and anti-national. They alleged that the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao was resorting to caste and communal politics. Condemning the State government's resolution, BJP leaders said that it was anti-constitutional to oppose Central government legislation. BJP leaders RK Sreenu, Lakshman, Soma Srinivas, Santhosh Goud, Srinivas Mudhiraj, Ramakrishna, Venkatesh, Dhanraj, Chandu, Shankar, Venkata Kishore, Sagar, Rajesh, Anil Singh and others were present.
