Moula Ali: The Koh-e-Moula Ali is celebrating the birth anniversary of Hazrat Ali, the son-in-law of Prophet Mohammed. The Moula Ali Dargah is visited by thousands on the birth celebrations of Moula Hazrat Ali and people from all faiths (though mostly Shia Muslims) and from all over the country come to take blessings at the Dargah. In the olden days, a camp for the pilgrims used to be put up at the lake below. The lake is currently only a 10th of its original size and is shrinking each year due to illegal encroachment

Meer Ashraf Ali Razvi, Superintendent of Bargah-e-Kohe, Moula-Ali, said, "People of all faiths visit Moula Ali to pray. A mannat lock is placed at the entrance and after their problems are resolved. People return to the Dargah to offer prayers and open the lock."

Maula-Hazart Ali had many titles and one of them was "Mushkil ko Shah" meaning the deliverer from suffering. Anyone who has any suffering or anyone who needs help calls upon Moula Mushkil ko Shah for deliverance from sufferings and problems.

According to a legend, a worker during the times of Qutub Shah fell ill and dreamt that a sick man was taken to Moula-Ali hill and he recovered. Mirza Sherazin, 74, a resident of Chandrayangutta who has been visiting the Dargah for more than past four generations, said, "We visit the Dargah at least thrice in a month to thank 'Allah' for all his blessings. My father always told me about the myths of the Dargah which have come true and I hope the younger generations of my family would continue the traditions.

Along with the children of my family, every time I visit the Dargah and tell them about the Dargah and make them worship 'Allah' and pray." Md Sabir, 32, a resident of UP in Lucknow who has been visiting the Dargah for the past 12 years said, "My mother used to visit the Dargah every year. Now since she is sick and cannot travel much we have been visiting the Dargah every year.

There is a belief that all your wishes (Mannat) get fulfilled and this has been true in our lives. There was a time when I was not able to get good business of embroidery. Later, when we visited the Dargah and wished for a growth in my business, it has going good. We visit the Dargah to thank 'Allah' every year and wish for a healthy and proper life of us."
