Hyderabad: KCR to address public gathering today at LB Stadium

TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is organising a massive public meeting today at LB Stadium in Hyderabad. Rao is expected to speak the TRS party's future plans to develop the city.

Party supporters from all 150 divisions are expected to take part in the public meeting along with the candidates contesting for GHMC election. All the arrangements have been completed for the meeting.

After the party's defeat in Dubbak by-election, the GHMC election has become a matter of prestige for both TRS and BJP. The BJP has already roped in its senior and national party leaders to campaign for the election including its national president JP Nadda who conducted a roadshow in Hyderabad on Friday.

Besides, the Chief Minister's public meeting, PM Narendra Modi's visit to Hyderabad to review Covaxin status has also assumed significance in the view of GHMC election. The Prime Minister will arrive at Hakimpet airport at 12.55 pm and then visit the Bharat Biotech company. He will return back to Delhi at 3 pm.
