Hyderabad: IWIN portal to encourage women entrepreneurship in Madhapur

Madhapur: On the occasion of International Women's Day, a unique portal to accelerate women-led innovations was launched by the Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu and Governor of Telangana state Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan at Madhapur on Sunday.

Speaking about the portal, the Vice-President said, "Women innovators from Technology, Healthcare, Education, Business, Agriculture, Science, Engineering. Social Sciences and all new age professions will find this platform highly valuable because of its Global Reach, Rich Content and Opportunities for Growth."

"Women will join this network to both inspire and to get inspired. While some share their stories of successful innovations others will learn from them. Even as knowledge gets created it gets disseminated," he added further.

Further, the Governor, Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, lauded Karuna Gopal, President of the Foundation for Futuristic Cities, for introducing a unique portal for women innovators and entrepreneurs, she said, "Women as natural caregivers with an innate desire to serve will surely ensure that their innovations touch those sections of society that needs special attention today exhausted addressing issues of daily life."

Karuna Gopal, President Foundation for Futuristic Cities, said, "India today is the epicenter for creative action. We believe that IWIN will shape these innovators into a new age of Influencers who will impact not just India but the entire World."
