Hyderabad: ESL Narasimhan last puja to Khairatabad Ganesh as Governor

Governor ESL Narasimhan and his wife Vimala Narasimhan who used to be the first ones to offer prayers to Khairatabad Ganesh on Ganesh Chaturthi will be visiting the gigantic idol today for the last time as governor.

The governor couple has been offering prayers to Khairatabad Ganesh since 2015. This time, they will be doing the first puja at 12 noon.

The Khairatabad Ganesh will be depicting in Dwadashi Aditya Maha Ganapati having 13 faces of different gods, 24 hands holding weapons and seven horses pulling a chariot. The organising committee began the puja with homam around 5 am today and the silk clothes were brought to the mandap by taking out a rally from Lakdikapul.
