Hyderabad: Chitra Ramachandran asked Students to write exams with confidence
Hyderabad: Special Chief Secretary-Education, Chitra Ramachandran asked students of Intermediate and SSC to write examinations with confidence as all necessary arrangments will be made for the smooth conduct of their examinations.
She reviewed the preparedness for the ensuing Intermediate and SSC examinations along with the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE), Secretary, Syed Omar Jaleel, Director of Government Examinations, A Satyanarayana Reddy with the DIEOs and DEOs in the district through a video conference.
Chitra has directed the DIEOs and DEOs to conduct press meets frequently before examinations and give wide publicity about the arrangements of the examination timings, downloading of the hall tickets by students and exam centres locator application.
The secretory advised DIEOs to send all the students' counsellors to interact with students to remove stress and fear of exams from them. Besides, to start help centres at bus stands and railway stations to guide the students.
The Special Chief Secretary instructed officials to ensure proper amenities like proper building, furniture, drinking water, lighting and CCTV cameras at each of the examination centre. Also, she made it clear that no student shall be made to sit on the floor for writing examinations and reports of any such incidents would invite severe action against the concerned officials, she warned.
TSBIE Secretary said already instructions are given to TSRTC, electricity, postal, revenue, health and police departments to coordinate for smooth conduct of the examinations.
He asked the DIEOs to ensure that questions papers reach the examination centres in time with proper police escort. Also, to ensure extra care of centres located in remote locations and to publish the details of students' counsellors in the print and electronic media
A Satyanarayana Reddy said all preliminary steps have been taken for conduct of SSC examinations starting from March 19.
He informed that district coordinate committees have been formed under District Collectors as the chairmen and the final reports on full arrangements will be submitted by March 12
