Huzurnagar: Telangana Rashtra Samithi candidate for Huzurnagar bypoll Shanampudi Saidi Reddy urged the people to vote for those who can bring the funds from State government without any hassles for the development of the constituency in all aspects.

On Friday, he carried out an election campaign in several wards in Huzurnagar town. Addressing the gatherings, Saidi Reddy said by-election to Huzurnagar came as a blessing for the people as they can remove the backwardness tag for Huzurnagar permanently by electing the eligible leader.

"Congress chief Uttam Kumar Reddy in his long tenure as a three-time MLA and Minister had never paid attention to the development of the constituency and had shown his ego by never meeting either Minister Jagadish Reddy or Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to bring the issues of the region to their notice for necessary help," Saidi Reddy said, mocking Uttam a man of metro cities who doesn't even know the number of colonies in Huzurnagar.

He cautioned people that Huzurnagar would not develop if they favor Congress candidate Padmavathi. He described himself the son of the soil, who was born and brought up in Huzurnagar and knows the problems of people and places under Huzurnagar Assembly territorial.

He asserted that even though he was defeated in 2018 Assembly elections, showing his commitment towards the development of constituency, he brought Rs 100 crore for the development of Huzurnagar.

He urged the people of Huzurnagar to give him a chance as an MLA in bypoll to be held on October 21.
