Harish Rao inspects wellness centre

Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao has directed the health officials at wellness centre at mother and child health centre to extend the necessary services to the families of government employees, teachers and journalists.

He visited the wellness centre here on Sunday, along with Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy. He inspected every wing of the centre, checked the registers and reviewed the functions of the centre.

He expressed unhappiness over the functioning of the doctors even after one year of establishment of the centre. He told them that they should work in the way, so that people would be grateful to them.

Municipal chairman Rajanarsu, malaria officer Kashinath, executive director of the wellness centre Gopikanth, JEO Viyah, in-charge medical officer of the centre Pradeep and staff were present on the occasion.
