Godavari Boat Lost the Grip Of Anchors: Dharmadi Satyam Team Continues Rescue Operations

Update: 2019-10-19 09:35 IST

The Dharmadi Satyam team is trying to uncover the Royal Vashishtha Punnami boat which sank in the Godavari at Devi Pattanam Mandal in East Godavari district. On Friday morning, under the command of Captain Adinarayana, a port officer, the boat was anchored, leaving the Iron Rope as a trap into the Godavari and pulled with the help of Procklainer. However, the grip of the anchor slipped. In the evening, the anchors were inserted into the river with ropes.

Bubbled diesel landings were found sailing on the water in the area where the boat was being towed while the anchor and rope were pulling, he said. A bundle of disposable glasses in the boat sailed up Friday. The boat is currently 40 feet deep. The boat was supposed to be about 250 feet from the river bank. It is said that a further ten meters of shoreline can be found on the boat. Every time the anchor is tilted, the boat is about ten to twenty meters ahead,

Dharmadi Satyam said that there is a delay in the operation of the boat and reiterated that they would extract the boat. Dharmadi Satyam contacted Visakhapatnam's Underwater Service Team to help anchor the boat.
