Foundation stones laid for three development works in Adilabad

Adilabad: MLA Jogu Ramanna laid foundation stones for three development works in Adilabad constituency on Friday. He laid foundation stone for the construction of CC road with an estimation cost of Rs 25 lakhs at Balaji Nagar and for CC road with an estimation cost of Rs 45 lakhs at Sidharth Nagar.  

Later, he laid foundation stone for drainage construction and CC road at a cost of Rs 20 lakhs at Pittalawada in Adilabad town.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ramanna said Rs 25 lakhs were sanctioned last year for the CC road construction in Balaji Nagar but the works couldn't be taken up due to model code of conduct during the elections. Due to continuous elections, even the construction of double bedroom houses also delayed.

He pointed out that the State government had increased the pensions for all the eligible beneficiaries. Ramanna urged the people to vote for car symbol in the coming municipal elections for the development of the town and told them not to forget the development that has been taking place during the rule of TRS government.

Former municipal chairperson Rangineni Manisha, ICDS organiser Kasthala Premal, ZP vice-chairperson Are Rajanna, Addi Bhoja Reddy, Nalla Rajeshwar, Ejjagiri Ashok, Gangareddy, Prahallad, Bandari Satish, and others were present.
