Flyovers to remain closed today in Hyderabad for Jagne Ki Raath

All the flyovers in the city including the Necklace road will be closed today after 10 pm in the view of Shab-e-Meraj Jagne Ki raath, said the Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar.

However, traffic flow will not be interrupted on the three flyovers -- Greenlands, PVNR Expressway and Langar Houz. The police issued a circular in this regard appealing to the public to choose alternate routes avoiding the respective areas. 

Jagne Ki raat or Shab-e-Qadr is so significant for Muslims on which it is believed that their sins are forgiven by the almighty. Prayers will start at 8 pm and go on till 10 pm by reading Quran and practising Namaz.
