Five quintals of fish medicine to be prepared for distribution in Hyderabad
Five quintals of fish medicine is being prepared for distribution on June 8 by the Bathini family at Exhibition Grounds in Nampally.
The fish medicine which is served by the Bathini family at free of cost is believed to help many people to those who suffer from asthma and other respiratory issues. It is distributed every year on 'Mrigasira Karthi' day, which marks as the onset of monsoon according to Hindu calendar.
The medicine is prepared separately with jaggery for vegetarians.
After serving the medicine on an empty stomach, a separate medicine is distributed to the people which will be taken on three occasions in the next 45 days.
According to Harinath Goud of Bathineni family, the medicine is being prepared for five lakh people this year. Last year, the medicine is distributed for four lakh people.
