Elaborate security arrangements for KTR's visit to Khammam

Khammam: The Police department is making elaborate security arrangements in view of Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development K Taraka Rama Rao visit to Khammam and Yellandu towns on Sunday.

KTR along with Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar will participate in many developmental activities and inaugural functions in Khammam and Yellandu town. Many Ministers, MPs, top officials and other VVIPs of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh may visit the Khammam town to participate in former MP Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy son's wedding reception.

Police Commissioner Tafseer Iqbal along with town ACP PV Ganesh and Special Branch ACP Prasanna Kumar on Saturday reviewed security arrangements with officials and also visited the function hall where the wedding reception and other programmes will be held.

He told media that many people and as well as VIPs will attend the former MP Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy's son's wedding reception. Keeping in mind the rush and VIPs visit the police make elaborate bandobast.

He instructed the officials to ensure traffic snarls should not happended in the city when the VVIPs visit on Sunday. He suggested the officials to make available fire service and cranes.
