Cops can work from home: DGP Mahendar Reddy
Hyderabad: The Director General of Police (DGP) office has on Thursday issued an advisory to the police staff of headquarters to work from home and on alternate days.
The release issued by the DGP office noted that, in view of the ongoing pandemic of coronavirus the ministerial staff of chief office shall work on alternate days and on rotation basis.
The release also noted that, all the staff below senior assistants and outsourcing staff and home guards shall adhere to the same and the superintendents of respective departments shall make arrangements accordingly.
Moreover the staff who are not working won't be marked as absent, but the staff shall be ready to report even from home and staff who will attend office should look after each and every work related to section irrespective of their allocated seat.
The release further noted that, no employee shall switch off their phones if they are working from home and if any employee is facing health issues, then they shall immediately report to the DSP of their respective departments and get treated.
