Congress, TRS are two faces of the same coin: BJP in Huzurnagar
Huzurnagar: Bharatiya Janata Party State president Dr Laxman stated that as part of political understanding, both Congress chief Uttam Kumar Reddy and Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao were regularly chit-chatting over phone in the nights and were critcising each other in the morning.
On Tuesday, along with party candidate for Huzurnagar bypoll Dr K Rama Rao, Laxman participated in roadshows in Huzurnagar constituency. Addressing the gatherings, the BJP State chief stated that TRS candidate Shanampudi Saidi Reddy was a benami of Minister Jagadish Reddy and both have sold land for the Collectorate building in Suryapet.
"Only Uttam Kumar Reddy family will benefit if Padmavathi wins the election," he added.
He expressed his concern over waiting of unemployed youth for jobs in their own State even after six years of ruling by the TRS.
Laxman asserted that Telangana State was in the clutches of a cement factory owner and both ruling and opposition parties were just following his orders.
He questioned TRS as to what they did for the State when people of this region gave them 16 MPs. "BJP is a committed party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 70-year-old Kashmir issue in 70 hours in the interest of sovereignty of the country," he said.
Stating that change in the society was possible only through BJP, he urged people of the constituency to give a chance to the saffron party to show the real development of Huzurnagar constituency.
Party leaders Garlapati Jithendra Kumar, Sakineni Venkateshwar Rao, local leaders and people of respective villages participated in the campaign meetings held on the day.
