Congress alleges rigging in LS polls
Zaheerabad: Madan Mohan Rao, who contested on the Congress Party ticket from the Zaheerabad parliamentary constituency and lost, claimed on Monday that truth and morality were on his side and he won a moral battle. He was on a visit to this constituency after the announcement of the election results.
Speaking to The Hans India here on Monday, he alleged that bogus voting was reported in the polling booth No 89 in Varni mandal of Nizamabad. He alleged that somebody voted on behalf of a person, who was residing in America. Like this, there was several instances of electoral rigging, he added. He said that that they would be filing a case in the High Court with all the necessary evidence.
Madan Mohan said people of the State were disappointed with the TRS government. He assured that he would be fighting on behalf of people in the coming five years. Golla Bhaskar, Narsimha Reddy, Shuklavardhan Reddy, Narsimhulu and others were present.
