CM Revanth Reddy Lays Foundation for Kondurg Young India Integrated Residential School Complex

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reiterated his government’s commitment to building a healthy and prosperous Telangana by providing quality education and healthcare to the poor, especially those living in remote villages, tribal areas, and slums. Speaking at the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the Young India Integrated Residential School in Kondurg, Rangareddy district, CM Reddy emphasized the importance of accessible education for the underprivileged.

On the occasion of Dussehra, the Chief Minister launched the construction of the integrated school, stating that it was born out of discussions with intellectuals and social philosophers who shared the belief that no child should be deprived of education due to poverty. He emphasized that the idea behind these schools is to foster a sense of unity and brotherhood among students from different backgrounds, including SC, ST, BC, and minorities, all within a single 25-acre campus.

The government is investing Rs. 120 to 150 crore in each campus to provide state-of-the-art facilities for underprivileged students. Each residential school is expected to accommodate around 2,500 students, offering them a holistic learning environment. CM Reddy expressed the hope that these students will grow into successful individuals who contribute to the nation's development.

Highlighting the government’s focus on education, the Chief Minister pointed out that after the formation of Telangana, around 5,000 schools had been closed, disproportionately affecting Dalits and tribals. He stressed that this trend must be reversed to ensure that no child is left behind.

CM Reddy also praised the efforts of government officials working for the welfare of the poor and announced the promotion of 21,000 teachers and the transfer of 34,000 teachers without any disputes, aiming to improve education standards in the state.

Local representatives and officials attended the event, and CM Revanth Reddy extended his warm Dussehra wishes to the people, praying for prosperity, good harvests, and a bright future for children.
