Chief Secretary lauds dist forest dept staff

Siddipet: Chief Secretary Shailesh Kumar Joshi inspected the compensatory afforestation works of Kaleshwaram project here on Tuesday. He noted that they were completing the project works as per the directions of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. He lauded the efforts of the District Forest Department machinery and District Forest Officer Sridhar.

The Chief Secretary along with Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) PK Jha, APPCCF, RM Dobrail, APPCCF, Shobha, Lokesh Jaiswal, CP Joel Davis, Medak Conservator Shravan, JC Padmakar and Forest Officer Sridhar inspected the raising of saplings in the Mulugu forest.

SK Joshi visited the oldest well in Kalpakavanam Forest Park on the outskirts of Gajwel and advised the District Collector to take measures to renovate the well under the aegis of the State Archeology Department.

Earlier, District Collector Krishna Bhaskar, who was present, said that were paying special focus on the Haritha Haram programme and also taking all steps to set up a nursery in every village by June this year. An official of the Forest Department, Rama Rao, several staff members of the forest department and others were present on the occasion.
