Central forces deployed in Jagityal ahead of Telangana assembly elections
Amid ensuing assembly elections for Telangana, two companies of the BSF (Border Security Force) have arrived in the Jagityal district to assist the local police in maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. A meeting was held at the district police headquarters to discuss the roles and responsibilities of the central forces during the election.
During the meeting, SP Sunpreet Singh emphasized that the central forces will collaborate closely with the district police before, during, and after the elections to ensure the prevention of any untoward incidents. The Central Force personnel will be deployed at key locations to maintain route security.
Additionally, a flag march will be organised, with particular attention given to problematic villages. A strong vigil will be maintained near check posts, and there will be intensified vehicle checks.
These measures aim to create a secure environment for the electoral process and to prevent any disruptions during the assembly elections.
