CC road works underway in Kukatpally

Kukatpally: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Kukatpally Zone has taken repairing the internal CC roads across the zone and road construction works. Mamatha, Zonal Commissioner, said, " All the damaged internal roads would be relayed. The repairs and laying of CC roads have been sanctioned for 42 areas in Kukatpally zone, out of which, 50 percent of works have been completed and the work started in the last week of May and the rest of the work would be completed by the second work of July. The road construction work was taken up during lockdown, as human activities has come to the standstill and this period we have taken up to complete road construction works."

Rs 77 lakh was sanctioned for this project. Road construction works are in progress in Alwal, Jeedimetla, Meeanaski Estate, Kukatpally , Rangareddy Nagar, Qutubullapur.

Apart from this regular road maintenance works such as filling potholes, and patchwork where the road is damaged, lane marking, footpaths, central medians, and desiltation works are also under progress in the zone.
