Case on vet after KCR's dog dies: BJP questions government over dengue deaths
Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao said the party feels that the episode of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's dog dying in Pragathi Bhavan and a case being filed against the veterinarian promptly for negligence, is an irony of sorts in Telangana.
In a statement here on Saturday, he said that it is a cruel joke on the ongoing dengue deaths in Telangana, due to criminal negligence of TRS government.
"BJP wishes, if Chief Minister had even half of the love towards people, so many poor children wouldn't be dying of dengue. It is sad that hundreds of poor children are not getting timely medical attention in the State and are dying, and TRS government has been just a mute spectator," he said.
Rao alleged that the Chief Minister and his administration continue to be in denial and exhibit criminal apathy.
Against this backdrop, BJP questions, how many cases need to be filed on the Chief Minister and his government for this unaccountable governance?
How many cases need to be filed on Health Minister Eatala Rajender for not even accounting for hundreds of dengue deaths and dengue fever cases, he questioned.
