Bhadradri Brahmotsavams begin; special puja performed

The priests carrying water from Godavari amid chanting of Vedic hymns on Wednesday

Bhadrachalam: As part of ongoing Brahmotsavams at the Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy Devasthanam in Bhadrachalam, the priests on Wednesday conducted Navahinika Brahmotsavalu Ankurarpana programme on the temple premises.

In the early hours, the priests performed special pujas in the temple and later carried water from Godavari river with special pots amid chanting of mantras and conducted Kalasa Puja.

Assistant Executive Officer Sravan Kumar distributed silk clothes to priests who would be conducting the celestial wedding April 14, on the Srirama Navami day.

In the evening, Puttamannu puja programme was conducted at Govindarajula Swamy temple. The priests informed that on Thursday, Dwajapata Bhadraka Mandala Lekhanam programme would be conducted.
